Netherlands Business Academy is a private business school from the Netherlands. The school offers an MBA and MFC program, as well as a large number of derivative programs, masterclasses, and training programs. All programs are aimed at working professionals and are characterized by their practice-oriented approach.
Mediation
NLBA has a lot of experience in the successful coordination of the international projects and a huge experience in the thematic of this project, namely in mediation, negotiation, cross-cultural communication. Specific areas of expertise of NLBA are programs for educational institutes, digital learning & marketing, and EQ-courses for managers.
NLBA has developed and implemented several mediation training courses, both in the Netherlands and abroad. Through the development of these programs, NLBA has gained experience in train-the-trainers programs. Furthermore, the school is aware of the Mediation environment in the Netherlands and in Europe and has good contacts with multiple stakeholders. Previously, NLBA was project leader for the EU mediation project ‘Mediats’, which aimed to stimulate mediation in several countries. It was completed successfully in 2023. The rector of NLBA is the Head of Mediation Association of Assuring Quality.

- Prof dr.h.c. Jan van Zwieten RI, RA, RO, IRMRector International Mediator NLBA Project Manager, trainer, facilitatorJan van Zwieten is an international registered mediator since 2002. As of 2010 he is chairman to the register of mediators in the Netherlands. He has a long status as teacher in several mediation related courses and conferences. He is also responsible for the Erasmus capacity building project “Mediats”
- Gea van KlompenburgMME Teacher / MediatorGea van Klompenburg is a very experienced mediator.
Aside from her teaching, she is a full-time mediator in the Netherlands. She has an outstanding record on courses
on mediation for both starting mediators and professionals. Internationally she participated in projects like “Mediats” (Erasmus), Mediation to prosecutors and judges in Skopje (Matra), and “Discom” (Erasmus). - Marjon KuipersMSc, MME Director Teacher/mediatorMarjon Kuipers has extensive experience as a mediator. She is the director of a school specializing in trauma and Autism. She has an outstanding record on courses on mediation for both starting mediators and professionals. Internationally she participated in projects like “Mediats” (Erasmus), Mediation to prosecutors and judges in Skopje (Matra), and “Discom” (Erasmus).
