It was very interesting, the participants analyzed body language, emotions and the important role they play in communication and perception.
The trainer demonstrated excerpts from the now well-known TV series "Adolescence", where they discussed in a live conversation format body language and how you can learn about a person's emotions from the signals they give non-verbally.
Besides, the participants also discussed the difference in whether we are actually expressing emotions or feelings (using the example of Melania Trump and her fake success).
After that, Ms. Olena showed pictures from the famous silent movie about Charlie Chaplin and active participants gave feedback on the emotions depicted in the picture, trying to guess the situation that took place.
The training was completed in the format of practical work in separate groups of 3 people, where participants tried to demonstrate an emotion without words, and others tried to guess what emotion was being demonstrated.
This activity consolidated the process of understanding the importance of non-verbal interaction in communication.
