Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) – the largest public social sciences specialized university in Lithuania. MRU is named after the patriarch of Lithuania‘s Constitutional Law Professor Mykolas Romeris (1880-1945).
The University has capable and significant core educational science, economics, humanities, communication, politics, psychology, sociology, and management areas. These Faculties operate at the University: Law School, Public Security Academy (Kaunas), Faculty of Human and Social Studies, Faculty of Public Governance and Business.

MRU Mediation and Sustainable Dispute Laboratory (MRU Mediation LAB) unites more than 10 experts in the application of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods. The laboratory unites specialists from different fields and different experiences, genders, and ages, who are motivated to develop the application of mediation and other alternative dispute-resolution methods in Lithuania and beyond.
The uniqueness of the laboratory is the interdisciplinarity of the ongoing research and other activities. Considering the nature of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods – the desire to peacefully resolve the conflict – the laboratory brings together lawyers, psychologists, social scientists, educators, managers, financiers, and specialists in other fields.
MRU Mediation LAB is a team of the strongest and most recognized mediation theorists and practitioners recognized in Lithuania, who actively participate in educating the public, conducting research, and shaping, improving, and implementing state policy in mediation.
